AMST welcomed a group of pilots from Venezuela at its headquarters for a combined spatial disorientation and night vision training. It was the 11th group of pilots coming to AMST for this training lead by our experienced instructors Douglas Vine and Christian Plonka.

On 3. June 2016, AMST's employees visited the rescue hoist training facility of the Bavarian Mountain Rescue in Bad Toelz, Germany. During the event, our colleagues saw the fruits of their work in action. And of course they took the opportunity to make a flight with AMST's newly developed Recue Hoist Trainer (RHT).

AMST presented their newly developed Virtual Terrain Image Generation System (VTIGS) at the ITEC in London. The VTIGS is a computer-based night vision training system with an extremely high-resolution terrain database.

The Bavarian interior minister Joachim Hermann reopened the modernised and extended rescue hoist training facility of the Bavarian Mountain Rescue on 8. May 2016. One of the highlights of the event in Bad Toelz was the new Rescue Hoist Trainer (RHT), which is designed, manufactured and donated by AMST.

The WATS 2016 (World Aviation Training Symposium) took place 19th–21st April in the Rosen Shingle Creek Resort in Orlando, FL. AMST was participating and strengthening its network in the civil aviation domain.
