Press Release: ICARE and AMST Celebrate the Successful Qualification of A320 AIRFOX Full Flight Simulator

Morlaix/Nieuw-Vennep, December 2023 – ICARE Training Center, based in Morlaix, France and AMST proudly announce the successful qualification of the AIRFOX Level D Full Flight Simulator (FFS) for Airbus A320 Std2.1 CEO/NEO. This milestone achievement took place on 15 December 2023.

The AIRFOX FFS, designed and manufactured by AMST, has been rigorously tested and has successfully met all the requirements set by the aviation authorities. This dual qualification of the FFS for both A320 CEO CFM and NEO LEAP models underlines the simulator’s exceptional capabilities and versatility.

Philippe Goetz, CEO and Accountable Manager of ICARE Training Center, remarked, “We were convinced that we have made the right choice with AMST, but the final result is beyond our expectations. The comments we received from the French DGAC inspectors are remarkable, pointing the technical maturity of the device, the outstanding resolution of the visual and the ergonomics of the Instructor Station. We are eager to welcome our A320 customers for them to enjoy their training sessions on this state-of-the-art simulator.”

The newly qualified AIRFOX FFS will enable ICARE to expand its range of services to include comprehensive training for the Airbus A320 family, building on its reputation as a European specialist in aviation training.
