Ranshofen, Austria, March 2026 – AMST, a Selected Supplier of Airbus Helicopters, has successfully completed Factory Acceptance of the first H145M 5-bladed. The Mission Trainer produced for Airbus Helicopters is designed to meet EASA Flight Training Device Level 3 qualification standards as well as Airbus Helicopter Flight Simulation Training Device label. The system represents a significant milestone in high‑fidelity, mission‑ready helicopter simulation and underlines AMST’s capability to deliver advanced tactical training solutions.

Advanced Features for Comprehensive Mission Readiness
The H145M Mission Trainer is designed to support demanding military training requirements and enables the rehearsal of tactical operations under highly realistic visual and environmental conditions. Key features include:
- Mission Equipment Integration for Night Vision Goggles, sensors, communication, and armament training
- Electro Optical system simulation (EOS) with original Grip and fully functional sensor suite as well as electro optical modes.
- Full integration of HFORCE Option 2 including interface for Helmet‑Mounted Sight & Display
- Moving Map combining situational awareness, and mission management system; featuring HTAWS (Helicopter Terrain Awareness & Warning System), obstacle and airspace warnings, traffic overlay, and EOS camera interconnectivity
- Fully integrated H145M cockpit to provide maximum realism in handling, ergonomics, and crew interaction
- Advanced high resolution Norxe 4K single chip DLP LED projection system with a field of view of 210° horizontal x 80° vertical, including autocalibration and advanced H/W blending for seamless edge-blended imagery.
Full Tactical Simulation Capability
As a true mission trainer, the system supports comprehensive tactical simulation, including the seamless integration of Computer Generated Forces (CGF). This enables complex, scenario‑driven training with dynamic entities, threats, and mission environments that closely reflect real operational demands.
OEM Data Package for Maximum Realism
To achieve an exceptional level of realism, AMST has integrated the original Airbus Helicopters Flight Data Package for the H145 5-bladed. This provides an accurate, high precision flight model and forms the foundation for reliable mission rehearsal and training validity.
Factory Acceptance Completed – Ready for Shipment
The simulator passed its Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) with Airbus Helicopters and is now ready for shipment. This milestone reflects the close cooperation between all project partners and the dedication of the AMST project team in delivering high end simulation solutions worldwide.
Melchior Kaag, Airbus Helicopters Head of Training, Simulation and Flight Operation Services said:
“This significant achievement underscores our commitment to supporting military operations and mission training for our customers.
Our mission is to provide operators with guaranteed quality and risk-free training. This state-of-the-art OEM H145M 5-bladed simpack embedded in the simulator, allows this mission trainer to become a high-fidelity device that directly meets this objective.”
Rainer Schluesselberger, Managing Director and Shareholder of AMST added:
“AMST is proud of working together with Airbus on the H145M program. For AMST this project is another major milestone in the development of the overall and especially the helicopter product portfolio and becoming a full solution provider for their customers.”
