AMST to Deliver Next-Generation Spatial Disorientation Trainer to Hellenic Air Force

Ranshofen, September 2025 – AMST is proud to announce that it will provide a new AIRFOX DISO Spatial Disorientation Trainer to the Hellenic Air Force. The legacy device, originally delivered by AMST and located at the Athens Air Force General Hospital, will be replaced by a new state-of-the-art AIRFOX DISO system.

The previous trainer served the Hellenic Air Force for over 20 years, operating to the full satisfaction of the customer. Following an international public tender process, AMST was awarded the contract for the upgrade by meeting all technical requirements and staying within the specified budget − an outcome that also reflects the company’s longstanding familiarity with the operational needs of the Hellenic Air Force.

The new AIRFOX DISO will provide advanced spatial disorientation training capabilities, ensuring that Hellenic Air Force pilots continue to receive world-class preparation for the challenges of modern flight.
