This year’s AsMA was in San Diego in a real “Latino Flavoured” atmosphere. Derek Knight, M.D. received the Kent K. Gillingham Award from Brig.Gen.(rtd) Dr. Erich Rödig in recognition of his substantial contributions to SD countermeasures research and training. The traditional AMST reception was arranged at “La Fiesta” together with friends from more than 15 nations.
AMST received a contract for a simulator for selection of Military pilots. The simulator has three aircraft models (fast jet, trainer aircraft and helicopter), flight controls, instrument and visual displays, terrain database and a hexapod motion system. Final Acceptance was 25th April 2014. We would like to thank the Austria MOD for their confidence in AMST.
Beginning of February 2014 AMST passed the Final Acceptance of the AIRFOX ASD. During installation we had an excellent support from the staff of the customer and we would like to express our grateful thanks to all involved personnel from Myanmar.
Danish Defence Acquisition and Logistics Organisation – DALO has awarded the contract for a Night Vision Training System NIGHTFOX NVTS to AMST. We would like to take this opportunity to thank DALO for this order and its confidence in AMST.
2013-10 Kingdom of Saudi Arabia
In October 2013 AMST passed the Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) of the Sea Survival & Rescue training equipment successfully. The Royal Saudi Naval Forces delegation was very delighted about the equipment, that will be installed within the first half of 2014.
The 4th User Congress was held in the Westin Bellevue Hotel, Dresden from the 11th to 15th October 2013. The event was attended by more than 70 delegates from 26 nations which globally meant four of the five continents were represented from Australia, Japan to both North and South America.
